Code of conduct
  • Internal mobility is part of career development managed by HR.
  • The HR departments of RTL Group are committed to encourage, promote and help internal mobility.
  • This means that the HR departments agree to:
    - Communicate the open positions in their companies, which could be occupied by employees of the Group.
    - Communicate to the other HR departments of the Group the employees who wish to find a new opportunity within the Group.
  • In order to guarantee this transparency, Corporate HR has put in a place a procedure, which helps to gather and to distribute the information to all HR departments of the Group.
  • The database "jobs made in RTL" is also a facilitator of Group mobility. Employees are welcome to apply for vacancies that are published in "jobs made in RTL".
  • If a transfer takes place, the HR departments involved will try to find a fair agreement. The objective should always be to consider the employee's seniority in the Group and to take it into account regarding trial period, notice period, pension plans or leaving payments (if feasible & applicable).
  • RTL Group companies will not compete with each other with respect to the conditions of employment.
  • HR can only support internal mobility if the employee has first contacted the HR department and/or his/her supervisor or if the supervisor has made a demand to the HR department.
