David Falzon - Sponsorship Coordinator
FremantleMedia - London
"After narrowly missing a place on the 2005 FremantleMedia Graduate training scheme, I was instead offered the role of Material Operations Coordinator in FremantleMedia Enterprises’ International Distribution division. Here I made all non-broadcast publicity materials available to clients via the FIDTV website, gained useful knowledge of International TV markets, worked closely with the sales team for each of the global territories and attended MIPTV and MIPCOM in Cannes as support staff.

After almost two years, it was time to find a new challenge, but keen to stay within the company due to their emphasis on the personal development of employees, I moved across to the Licensing division where I am now the Sponsorship Coordinator helping execute the off-air sponsorship grant around our most popular properties here in the UK. This is incredibly varied as I am in close contact with our sponsors about each and every aspect of their campaigns and working closely with Production both in and out of the studio, as well as with the UK Interactive and Creative Approvals teams."
