| Video game publisher RTL Games, launched on 1 August, will also release selected games on its RTL Sports, Black Inc. and RTL Playtainment labels for Nintendo Wii consoles. The RTL interactive subsidiary has agreed the relevant licence with Nintendo Europe and the Cologne-based company is now officially accredited as a Wii Publisher.
Holger Strecker, RTL Games CEO said: "With its innovative controls, Wii offers new ways to have fun to not only games fans but the entire family. Our future portfolio will include a few games that have already been designed for Wii. I'm sure that with the Wii games console, which has already successfully won over new target groups for gaming, we'll also attract a huge new gaming community."
Strecker had recently announced that the games portfolio would be expanded significantly and that the three RTL Playtainment, RTL Sports and the recently-created Black Inc. labels would be assigned to it. RTL Games will present its new games line-up and the recently-developed Alarm für Cobra 11 - Crash Time at the Games Convention in Leipzig at the end of August. |
