RTL-Spendenmarathon 2014 raises more than 7.6 million
On the evening of 21 November, the 19th edition of the annual charity show of ‘RTL - Wir helfen Kindern’ came to an end. It raised roughly €319,773– per hour – for children in need in Germany and around the world.

Elmar Heggen, CFO of RTL Group said: “We will further expand our digital business in the midterm organically, but also with additional acquisitions by planning a total investment of 200 to 300 million Euro in purchases in the years to come – the digital business is one of our priorities, but we will also strengthen the content production and our broadcasting business.”
