A new television channel for The Netherlands
On 18 September 2014, RTL Nederland announced the launch of its fifth channel: RTL Z. RTL Z is currently broadcast during the day on RTL 7 and, somewhere in the first quarter of 2015, will become an independent channel focusing on a broader set of themes that include (breaking) news, politics, finance, business, tech and lifestyle.
